Commitment to Net Zero
At MedScience UK, we are committed to achieving Net Zero carbon emissions by 2050. This commitment drives our ongoing efforts to reduce our environmental impact across all areas of our operations.
Our Baseline and Progress
Baseline year: 2022
Total emissions: 136.1 tCO2e (Scope 1: 3.5, Scope 2: 47.1, Scope 3: 85.5)
Current year emissions (2023–2024): 135.6 tCO2e
Our goal is to reduce emissions by 34% by 2030, targeting 90 tCO2e, as part of our pathway to Net Zero.
Carbon Reduction Initiatives
We have already implemented several measures to lower our carbon footprint, including:
Switching to renewable energy suppliers
Preferring carbon-neutral transport providers
Exploring electric vehicle (EV) solutions for our operations
Collaborating with core suppliers to reduce environmental impact
Planned future initiatives include:
Assigning departmental responsibilities to deliver our Net Zero strategy
Reducing printed materials across the business
Expanding the use of electric vehicles for company operations
