The Narcotrend^® Compact M is a processed EEG monitor with specific models for OR and ICU. 

The primary indication for EEG monitoring in the OR is monitoring the depth of Hypnosis.

In ICU setting: assessment of depth of sedation, cerebral seizures, brain function after hypoxic events and prognosis after resuscitation In ICU.

Specific features of the Narcotrend^® Compact M include:

- Automatic age-related classification of the EEG, based on the patient’s age, including EEG classification during the first year of life

- Different diagrams including Power Spectrum, Density Spectral Array (DSA), Relative Band activity, SEF

- Use of EEG/ ECG electrodes aiding flexible electrode positions and reduce cost
